Joseph was traveling to the more distant villages, hoping to be closer to the queen's castle, though he wasn't sure why. He found that the closer he got, the worse he believed things looked. He traveled without Willow this time, as he was gathering his last provisions before moving on from Piggot village. He wondered the forest, picking fruit and different herbs he found would be useful on his travels.

Fleur had been practicing on what Pitch had told her. Concentrate on what she wanted to do and that would be it. So, the young pink haired girl was staring at the grass in front of her, completely focused. 'Bloom' she thought. 'Bloom.' she could see the flower blooming in her mind so why wasn't it showing up? With a sigh, the girl opened her eyes and sighed. It was going to take longer than she thought. Her blue eyes wandered over to where a man was picking fruit and herbs off the ground.
'Go greet him silly.' a voice in her head nagged. 'Come on, time to get out of that shell.'

Joseph absentmindedly picked one of the flowers and uprooted it, stuffing it in his bag. He supposed there was a better place for the flower to bloom. He walked over closer, then noticed a woman with strange yellow skin. "Oh, sorry, I thought I was alone." He confessed, finding it awkward now. He found himself running into a lot of people as of late.

Great. He's noticed you. SAY SOMETHING! Fleur gave a small smile and kicked the ground. "Uh, h-hi...I hope I wasn't interrupting anything important." she said, trying not to stare at her feet too much. It was one of the things that she had to get over. "I'm Fleur."

Joseph raised an eyebrow, clearly this girl was more shy than he pegged her for at first. He smiled back, "No, not really, just gathering some stuff before going on a journey,or rather moving on." He explained.

Fleur looked up at him confused and then at what he was collecting. "W-w-what are you collecting those for?" she asked, hoping that she wasn't trying to pry into his business.

He looked at his bag, "They're for a journey. Some of it I will use as food, some I will sell and trade, and the seeds I will plant."

Fleur looked up at the young man. He seemed to know a lot about his plants and seeds. "Are you a gardener then?" she asked curiously. Maybe he could give her advice on her own powers

He nodded, "I take boring ground and make something beautiful." He explained it as he normally did. "I think the world should be filled with different plants and trees."

"Oh that sounds wonderful." Fleur said. "I kind of agree with you actually, this world needs more trees and animals to." She felt bad for all the trees that had died early that year and all the animals had fled. it was too bad that she could not get her powers working otherwise she could help him in his cause.

"Yes, but with the queen's rules, many trees are dying." He admitted, although he didn't really blame the queen. He went over to one of the trees and started climbing, picking the fruit from it's branches. "Do you live near here?"

"Oh, um, sort of." Fleur replied. She wasn't sure if calling Pitch her father was right. "I live with my...mentor, we tend to move from place to place but we are staying here for awhile. I think he wants to stay here." she shrugged. "And I know what you mean, I can feel the pain in the earth. It hurts."

Joseph had never met someone who felt the pain of the world as he did. "You can feel it too? How?"

Fleur shuffled her feet with a blush on her cheeks. "I'm a drayaid. Or at least that's what people think. I mean i can feel the pain and control nature but uh i am not very good."

Joseph clapped at her introduction, as if she were delivering a speech. "Wow! I love dryads!" He exclaimed. He stopped clapping and smiled, "I'm sure you're better than you give yourself credit for."
