Dymas rode through the forest. As a king he hardly ever had any free time, and when he managed to get some he liked to spend that in peace. Unfortunately the castle garden lacked the privacy, so he had accuired a plot of land near enough so he could visit there often enough. He left the kingdom in his advisors and his daughters hands. She should learn to run things while he was gone soon enough. He had spent years clearing out the land and planting flowers and creating beauty out of chaos. The king wore clothes that made him look less regal, but were still clean and tidy enough so that he couldn't be mistaken as a peasant. And he doubted any peasant could afford a horse either.
The garden outshadowed the cabin he sometimes used as a shelter from the nature or to stay the night. He got off his horse, taking care of it before he made his way into his garden. He had a small patch where he grew herbs and vegetables. As he passed through it he bent down to pick a strawberry that seemed ripe enough to eat. He ate it after his long ride, enjoying the sweet taste of the berry. It made the berry taste even sweeter that he had grown it by himself. He continued on to the back of the cabin. The sun cast it's light there for the most of the day, making the garden glow in the lords peculiar light. He looked over his garden, satisfied to find it in such a good condition. He wore his working apron and his gloves and put on a hat to prevent heatstroke, and made his way to his roses. Starting to pluck the weeds that were growing on the root of the pink rose bush. Most men enjoyed other kinds of things to relieve stress. Dymas however liked gardening. It was solitary work, very much oposite of the loud court life. And taking care of his flowers and plants made him feel more in control of the world that consisted more of chaos than anything else.
OOC: Open to anyone XD no fences or guards around here to scare people away, I hope.

The hulder rarely saw such ripe and perfect berries, and they tasted better than she could have imagined. One after the other she plucked them and put them in her mouth, savoring the sweet-sour taste on her tounge. Raising her head in awareness, she turned her head to the sound of a horse approaching. She wasn't afraid of horses, animals were her friends, but this one wasn't alone, she could hear it. Almost smell it, they were getting closer fast. She got to her feet and sprinted off towards the forest opening, hiding behind a tree in the shadow, watching with awe. It was one of those rare creatures... she could never connect with them in the same way she could other animals. It made her fascinated by them, but also fearful.

After some time he felt pain in his back from hunching over so much. He decided to take a break from his work, and made his way back to the foodgarden. He made his way through the berry bushes he had there, picking berries for his lunch when he came to one that had almost clean of berries, and some berries on the ground like someone or something had droped them and ran. That buzzled Dymas, birds wouldn't cause such a thing. Not birds that he knew anyway. He spent a while wondering that, eating some of his berries from his bowl. Finally he decided to sit down on a bench he had overlooking the garden, enjoying his berries, and wondering about the mystical berrythief.

She crouched down behind the tree, poking her head out to the side to observe the creature, trying to determine whether or not he was a threat, or if she could leave her hiding in favor of eating more berries. Her belly was full, but she missed the sweet-sour flavor of the red ones. Taking a step to the side to gain better view she thread on a stick, making it snap loudly, revealing her place of hiding. Quickly, she fell back in behind the tree, hoping not to have been seen.

Dymas heard a crack somewhere behind him, turning his head to see where the noise came from but saw nothing. Perhaps it was just a hungry animal, or a lost child. He turned his head back to the view, silently putting the bowl of berries next to him on the bench, pushing it fartherfrom him, right to the edge of the bench. If the creature was hungry they could come and have some food. He sat there waiting for waht would happen, enjoying the peace and quiet of the wild nature surrounding him.

The creature didn't seem dangerous.. even when spotted he made no intimidating approach towards her. He seemed friendly enough, she supposed. Slowly she let her leg slide out into the open, followed by half of her head sniffing the air. Meeting his gaze, she stood still testing him, seeing what reactions she would cause in him. Whether he would be hostile or friendly.

He saw a female figure slip out from the woods. She was indecently dressed, almost nude. Part of him wanted to get her something to cover herself with and part of him didn't want to look away. He met her eyes and gave a soft nodd and a little smile. To tell her he wouldn't harm her unless she gave him reason to.

She couldn't seem to read him, but he showed no signs of being hostile. The creature wasn't snarling, nor approaching her. He wasn't even making a noise. Her best guess was that he was as curious as she was. And with that she jumped out from behind the tree, completely exposed to him. She ran up to him, before crouching just in front of the weird creature, sniffing the weird fabrics that enveloped him, taking in his sent. Harmless, she judged. Friend.

He was starteled to see the girl jump infront of him. Hesitating if the girl was going to attack or not, he shifted away from her slightly before she stopped. Sniffing his clothes, that made him relax slightly. "You are an odd one aren't you.." He took the bowl, offering her some berries. "Are you hungry?"

She sat down by his feet, relaxing her tail, letting it drop to the ground by her side. She stared at the bowl for a moment before taking the whole thing, looking up at him to see if he would fight her for it. She wouldn't want to fight him, he seemed far larger than her, and much stronger. Holding the object which contained the berries up to him again she tried to let him know that she wanted no fight and that he could take it if he wished to do so.

He smiled at her again, letting her have the bowl and laying his hand on his knee. Watching her reaction. "Do you talk child?" He just now noticed her tail.It shocked him some, was this girl some animal? She certainly acted like one.

She looked down and started eating the berries. The flavor filled her mouth again, and she licked her fingers every time some berryjuice was left on them. It was her favorite kind of berry, but she rarely saw them inside the forests, and it was risky to venture outside. Looking up at him she studied his face and the weird sounds he was making. It sounded like no snarl or growl, but neither did it sound like song or playful noises like the ones foxes made. She simply couldn't make sense of this creature, he was weird beyond anything she had seen before.

This creature didn't seem to understand speech. Perhaps she was indeed as wild as she seemed. Well even a wildling could learn. He took a berry out of the bowl she was holding. Placing it on the becnh next to him. "Berry." He said pointing to the little red berry, articulating clearly so the girl might learn the word. Perhaps they could find some common tongue.

As he took a berry from her, her head snapped up, but he never ate it. Such strange behavior. As he put it down beside him she went closer to it, sniffed it, to see if something was different with this one, but it seemed normal enough. He then seemed to reach for it as if he wanted it back. This whole thing made no sense to her at all. Had he thought it to be a bad berry, but changed his mind? She grabbed the berry and held it out for him to take.

He gave a soft laugh at her behavior, taking the berry and chucking it in his mouth. "Mine..." He said amused at her. Even if she was a berry thief, and tresspassing in his garden, he didn't feel the need to be angry at her. Unless she started to destroy the place somehow. Missing few berries didn't mean much to him. "If you like my berries you can eat them if you are hungry. Though it probably doesn't matter to you what I say to you does it?"
OOC: Sorry if replies from me die down for today x.x I seriously am gladd if I survive this day and don't impale myself on anything. I could fall asleep while walking that tired I am x.x
