"Because it would fall off my head if it wasn't." Kayley replied, placing her hands onto her lap. Her eyes were focused on Baccara as she spoke. "I'm still new to this kind of lifestyle, so yes; I made a mistake and shouldn't have shoved my crown in my bag. But if I hadn't, then I wouldn't have a second peace. If I was wearing it." Kayley pulled the crown out of her bag, scanning it for any damage; she got lucky.

"Mhm." Baccara simply dusted the conversation topic off like a bit of dust on her shoulder. The flash in Kayley's amber eyes gave off a silent plea for her not to tell anyone about her secret. "The bigger crime would be if a jewel had gone missing. One can only make up stories about tiaras being flung off at parties for so long."

"I know too well." Kayley replied, looking down at her lap. Remembering the only time she lost a jewel and her 'husband's' reaction. She sighed as she looked back up. "It's still better then losing it all together." She added, her eyes were on the tiara. "I only have this one on me as my crown is too heavy, heavier at times."

Baccara twisted a strand from her brown ponytail, nodding. "True. An heirloom like that could be worth a fortune, and if not handled properly, well....let's say the coins stolen from me by the side robbers will look like mere trifles compared to that." She looked from the tiara back to the bag, "speaking of theives, I know we're in town, but you never know who might be watching..."

"Not many thieves have been reported or any thieved for that matter, since the king's dethroning." Kayley replied, starting that statement with a heavy sigh. She was still getting the hang of politics, reading reports day in, day out wasn't any better. She placed her tiara back into her bag, before someone else saw it. "Anyway, everyone in the kingdom knows what the tiara looks like. It's been on enough paintings, anyone local could guess who it belongs to and I'm fully aware of how they react to it too."

No more questions needed to be asked around that point. The moment Kayley mentioned the tiara being on paintings, having a fiance who whined about a missing jewel, and the knowledge of the locals, including the kingdom's politics, the undercover princess nodded. "I won't tell," she whispered, guiding her horse away. "Heck, it saves me the trouble to begging for an audience without waiting behind a line."

Kayley smiled at her reply. "What do you mean?" She asked, wondering what she had meant by the comment. Did you come to speak with her? "If there is anything you need to ask me then feel free to, I might be new to this but I can still do my best to help you in anyway I can." She added, with a soft smile. She was still looked at 'Belle' but her hand was stroking Lemon.

Well, it was time to cut the act. Kayley was staring at her with expectance. Baccara cleared her throat and produced the one thing that would give her recognition that was positive as opposed to negative; her black rose dagger. The ebony flower was crafted in the green, studded hilt which was encased in its green velvet sheath. Anyone who had seen Baccara's dagger knew what it meant. It was the flower that gave away her true name, and what her ties really were...
"I'm looking for assistance against my adoptive mother. I've seen the toxin she's spread through the kingdoms, and I won't rest until it was been stopped."

Kayley had seen the knife before, when she studying about the different cultures from one of her advisers. She listened closely to Bacarra's words, letting everything sink it. She was sat with the daughter of Briar Rose, the mad queen. "I understand." Kayley replied, thinking about what her next move should be. Bereth was lucky that the mad queen hadn't reached them yet but she had just became queen, and was still learning to the ropes. She was talking to a princess who could become queen some day and it would be good to have some allies. "What are you looking for exactly?" She asked, lowering her hand from her horse.
