"Unfortunately, i think she already has." Pitch said. "The girl, at least from what i have heard, is the daughter of the Wicked Witch of the West." He had seen the girl's nightmares and had tried to make them real but apparently now that he thought about it. Maybe, he made them too realistic. "I suppose that fear she has suffering the same fate as her mother." The nightmare sighed and rubbed his temple, fear was one thing but the queen was making this girl live in terror.

The Wicked Witch of the West? Elsa had heard of her, but had had no idea she had produced a daughter. If this girl ended up becoming the new Wicked Witch of the West, and she was in Briar Rose's control...Elsa didn't even want to think about the consequences. She felt guilty. Briar Rose had taken this girl because she had left the palace, had escaped to the East. No, no, she couldn't think like that. If she had stayed, who knew what would have happened. She would probably still be killing people, still be living in fear. She had taken a chance, had decided to be brave so she could escape the prison she was in. Was that so wrong? Ugh, this was too confusing. It made her head ache. "I...need to go," she said, her arms wrapping tighter around herself. "I...need to think." She couldn't take much more of this conversation. It was upsetting her, and she refused to be that scared little girl that Pitch had found so long ago. "I suppose we'll..see each other again?" she asked, looking up at him.

Pitch nodded. "Of course." he said calmly. "I know you have a lot to think about. I shall come when you need me, even if you don't realize it." With nothing left to say, the shadow gave Elsa a smile and a small polite bow before disappearing as fast as he appeared.

Ugh, how was it that Pitch always managed to stay calm, when Elsa herself always got anxious or afraid or mad? Could nightmares feel the same emotions that humans could? She chided herself for thinking like that. Of course Pitch felt the same things she did. He probably just felt them a lot less often. Heck, he probably hadn't experienced fear in who knew how long. But Elsa was sure he had, at some point. Her mind was still thinking all this over when she looked up, but by then, Pitch was already gone. She looked around, but he was nowhere to be seen. Typical nightmare work. Pitch always seemed to come and go without a sound. With her arms still wrapped around herself, she headed back to her castle, where she could feel a bit safer.
