Joseph was riding bare back, as he always did, just coming back from the market. He carried with his a bag of oak seeds. He climbed off his steed and walked over to survey the opening he found himself in. The grass was bare and only dirt showed in many parts. He grabbed at the earth, taking the dirt in his hands and sifting through it. He then brushed his hands off and took a few seeds from his bag.

Eris sneaked through the trees checking behind her to make sure no one was following. She'd just stolen a good amount of money from one of Briar's noblemen and she wasn't entirely sure she'd gotten away as cleanly as she'd hoped. She came to a clearing and halted when she noticed somebody moving up ahead. When she saw he was no soldier, she let out a breath of relief before walking over to him in curiosity, "What are you doing?"

Joseph jumped a bit at the voice, then sighed, realizing it was just a woman. He had expected her to be some bear of some sort. "You startled me, I didn't know anyone would be here." He looked down at the dirt, then shrugged. "Just trying to plant something. What about you?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at the direction she had come from.

She smiled innocently and shrugged, "Just enjoying the beauty of nature." She sat down and let her pack fall to the ground, heavy in stolen gold, "I just love the way the sun shines through the leaves, don't you?" She needed a rest, and she figured soldiers couldn't sneak up as easily on her if they have to come out into the open to follow her.

Joseph looked around, "It is beautiful." He admitted with a shy smile. He watched her curiously, guessing she was carrying something rather heavy in that sack of hers. "Yes, the sun is the source of energy for many life forms. I guess that's why we enjoy it so much." He took some seeds out of the pack and started spreading them across the ground, making sure each was far enough away from the other.

She smirked when she realized just how easy this man was to manipulate. "Very true, I've always loved the warmth of it on my skin," she blatantly lied. She'd honestly take night over day any time, it was easily when she was most comfortable in her strange blue skin.

Joseph looked around, then rolled his eyes, unsure what to say. "So, if you don't mind the question, what power do you possess? I mostly come across enchanted people, so that's why I ask." He assured her, continuing his work.

She looked over at him as she took on his exact form and grinned at him with his own face, "I'm rather adaptable."

Joseph stood shocked for a good while, his lip quivering a bit as he tried to say something. It seemed nothing was going to come out. This power was something he hadn't even imagined was possible.

She laughed and transformed back into her naturally blue skinned feminine body, "I think that's one of the best reactions I've gotten."

Joseph relaxed a bit and rubbed his head, "Well, I'm glad I'm good for something." He guessed, shrugging. "Well, it's quite impressive." He tried not to think about it, afraid of hurting his mind over the possibilities.

She grinned, "Well, thank you... sorry I don't think I caught your name?" The young man was rather cute, if a bit naive. Maybe she'd actually like him.

"It's Little Creek, but you can call me Joseph." He didn't normally give his real name, but she revealed such an interesting power that he guessed it was the least he could do. "And you might be?"

She held out her hand, "I'm Eris. I have no other names or titles or else I'd tell them to you." Her mother had refused to pass on Eris' father's name or even tell Eris who he was. Not that Eris minded, she wanted nothing to do with the man.

Joseph guessed that was normal. He looked down, then back up to her, as if thinking. "I believe everything happens for a reason." He admitted, walking over to a tree and placing his hand on it. He spun around the tree once, then leaned against it, "I believe in God. My mother did, so I did." He closed his eyes for a moment. "I believe your name means Discord. Am I wrong?" He smiled a bit.
