She nodded with a sardonic grin, "Yes, that's exactly what it means. My mother had quite high hopes for me as a child." She looked over the tree he was leaning on, "I cannot say I share your belief in any gods, however."

Joseph smiled a bit, "Not many do. To each his own, right? I just liked the stories she told of Jesus, and a different kind of love." He opened his eyes, pushing off of the tree and walking towards her. "So, Discord, huh'? I guess you like that meaning?" He wondered, mostly from the way she grinned.

Her laugh was slightly bitter, "Yes, I suppose you could say that. Causing chaos seems to be a talent of mine."

Joseph looked away for a moment, "Is it fruitful? I mean, do you find happiness in it?" He asked, smiling a bit, as he found her confidence to be charming in a strange sort of way.

She looked over at him in surprise for a moment before collecting herself. It was a strange question and not one that she could often remember being asked, if at all. "I- Of course it brings me happiness. Who wouldn't be happy to have such power at their disposal?" The great tragedies wrought on her family because of that power were nothing she'd ever discuss with a stranger.

Joseph lost his smile for a moment, "I might. With a lot of power, comes the responsibility of that power and the jealousy of others weighing on your shoulders, and-" He stopped. "Oh, sorry, I guess I'm not really helping, am I?" He chuckled lightly and rubbed his head.

She shrugged, calm and collected once more, "You're fine. There'll always be jealous fools in this world, after all. I just don't make it my business to take notice of them."

Joseph supposed that was a good thing. "Yes, it's best not to. I don't suppose you're busy right now?"

She looked up at him in curiosity, "I don't think so, why? What do you need?"

"I was going to refill my flask. Do you happen to know the way to a source of water?" He asked, needing to not only water the seeds, but also his horse.

Eris nodded, "There's a small steam back near where I came from. It's a pretty short walk from here. I can easily lead you to it," she offered.

Joseph smiled, "That would be great, thanks." He grabbed another flask from his horse's saddle bag and put it around his shoulder where the other one was hanging. "Lead the way."

She nodded and slung her pack over her shoulder once more before leading him to the edge of the clearing and slightly beyond to the edge of the stream, "Here you go."

Joseph followed, not having much to talk about, although he was still curious as to what was in her sack. He paused by the water and reached down, gathering water in his flasks. "So were are you doing in the forest anyway?"

She smiles at him as she sits down next to the water, "Like I said, I was merely enjoying a walk through nature."
